ASCO-ROOT

DESCRIPTION

ASCO-ROOT 0-0-20 is a granular supplement with controlled release technology designed to be mixed in granular farm fertilizers blends. ASCO-ROOT contains 70 % of soluble seaweed extract (Ascophyllum nodosum) encapsulated in a proprietary carbohydrates matrix that controls the release cycles. The release mechanism is independent of temperature and allows the product to be active in early spring. ASCO-ROOT complies with the National standard of Canada on organic production systems.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

ASCO-ROOT must be used as a supplement for the manufacturing of fertilizers of similar particle size prepared in customer-formula. ASCO-ROOT is applied blended with granular fertilizers at seeding or transplant. The recommended rates are 4 to 6 kg per hectare for banded applications and 6 to 8 kg per hectare for broadcast applications. ASCO-ROOT must be used as a part of a complete fertilization program that relates to the fertility of the soil.
